The Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (“GFSC”) is issuing this public warning regarding the firm, Tourbillon Limited (“Tourbillon”).

Tourbillon were authorised by the GFSC in 2010 to offer Life Assurance Intermediary services. In 2012 they gained further authorisation to provide Investment and Pensions advisory services. These permissions were cancelled on 31 January 2022. 

Tourbillon holds no permissions and is no longer authorised to provide regulated activities from or within Gibraltar.

Members of the public should be aware that the Tourbillon website http://www.tourbillon-limited.com/ continues to inaccurately state that it is authorised by the GFSC to provide Investment Advisor, Pensions Advisor and Life Insurance Intermediary services. This is no longer the case.

Companies and individuals carrying out financial service activities in Gibraltar must be authorised by the GFSC.

How to protect yourself

The GFSC strongly advises consumers to liaise with financial companies which are authorised by the GFSC and can be found on the GFSC's Regulated Entities Register. If a company does not appear on the Register but claims it does, contact the GFSC Regulatory Investigations team on +350 200 40283.
