The Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC) is issuing a warning regarding https://www.gibraltarfinancial.net and the entities referred to therein as Gibraltar Financial and Gibraltar FX. This website claims to offer services in relation to Distributed Ledger Technology (“DLT”) as well as various investments in or from Gibraltar. The provision of services surrounding both DLT and Investments are regulated activities requiring authorisation from the GFSC.

Neither this website nor the entities referred to therein are authorised by the GFSC, nor is any application pending for authorisation. Furthermore, there are no active limited companies registered in Gibraltar with the names Gibraltar Financial or Gibraltar FX.

How to protect yourself

The GFSC strongly advises consumers to liaise with financial companies which are authorised by the GFSC and can be found on the GFSC's Regulated Entities Register. If a company does not appear on the Register but claims it does, contact the GFSC Regulatory Investigations team on +350 200 40283 or information@gfsc.gi.
