The Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC) is issuing a warning regarding https://platinum-markets.com/. This website claims to be an investment platform and falsely purporting to be affiliated with Tap Global Limited. 

Tap Global Limited is a regulated company in Gibraltar and has no association with “Platinum-Markets”.

The provision of services surrounding investments is a regulated activity requiring authorisation from the GFSC.

Neither “Platinum-Markets” nor their website are authorised by the GFSC, nor is any application pending for authorisation. Furthermore, there are no active limited companies registered in Gibraltar with the name “Platinum-Markets”.

How to protect yourself

 The GFSC strongly advises consumers to liaise with financial companies which are authorised by the GFSC and can be found on the GFSC's Regulated Entities Register. If a company does not appear on the Register but claims it does, contact the GFSC Regulatory Investigations team on +350 222 59050.
