27 Jan 23
The Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC) is issuing a consumer alert regarding the website https://bitgx.com/app/# .
Fraudsters have recently been using this website falsely claiming it to be that of CEX.IO, a GFSC authorised firm and offering Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), specifically an exchange service for various cryptocurrencies.
This false website uses the name and logo of the GFSC authorised firm, CEX.IO, and this website is not the genuine website of the firm.

Companies and individuals carrying out financial services activities in Gibraltar have to be authorised by the GFSC. The website https://bitgx.com/app/# is not of any firm authorised by the GFSC.
