The Gibraltar Financial Services (GFSC) is issuing a consumer alert regarding the website https://gibraltarint.com.

Fraudsters have recently been using this website falsely claiming it to be that of Gibraltar International Bank, a GFSC authorised Bank and purporting to offer various Banking, Insurance and Investment products and services. 

This false website uses the name and logo of a GFSC authorised Bank, Gibraltar International Bank, and this website is not the genuine website of the Bank. 

Gibraltar International Bank makes it clear that this website https://gibraltarint.com is not in any way associated with activities of Gibraltar International Bank, a Bank legally registered in Gibraltar. 

Gibraltar International Bank has issued its own warning as to this website. 

Companies and individuals carrying out financial services activities in Gibraltar have to be authorised by the GFSC. The website https://gibraltarint.com is not of any firm authorised by the GFSC.

The Gibraltar-registered company has no association whatsoever with the ‘clone company’.  

 

How to protect yourself

We strongly advise you to only deal with financial companies that are authorised by us and check the GFSC Regulated Entities Register to ensure they are. It has information on companies that are, or have been, regulated by us. If a company does not appear on the Register but claims it does, contact the GFSC Regulatory Investigations team on +350 200 40283
