17 Sep 18

The Gibraltar Financial Services Commission has today published its Annual Report, Strategic Plan and supporting Business Plan.

The Report highlights the work carried out by the Commission over the last year, including progress on the Legislative Reform Programme and developments in the Distributed Ledger Technology sector.

Positioning the strategic objectives of the GFSC for the next three-year period, The Strategic Plan is supported by the annual Business Plan, which articulates how these strategic objectives will be delivered.

GFSC Chairman, Dr Jonathan Spencer said: “I am delighted with the hard work the Commission has carried out this year, which is reflected in the Annual Report. I look forward to working towards the new strategic objectives with the Board and the Executive.”

Samantha Barrass, CEO of the GFSC added: “I’m very proud of the progress the GFSC has made over this past year. The challenges have been significant and energised the work of staff. This environment sets an exciting context for the 2018-2021 strategic plan and this year’s business plan which I am delighted to share.”
